Behaviour Brain

How it works

From the classroom to the head's office, in four steps.

Teachers record what happens. Behaviour Brain turns it into the picture leaders need.

  1. Teachers record what happens

Recognition or an incident takes a few taps. Each incident has a level from 1 to 5, set by your own behaviour policy.

  2. Every student has one profile

Incidents, recognition, parent contact and exclusions sit together, so anyone with access sees the full picture.

  3. The students who need attention come first

Each student's record is weighed against their positive behaviour. Heads of year see who to check in with this week.

  4. Support is planned and reviewed

Leaders write Individual Support Plans with clear targets and review dates. Plans record the student's and parents' views and print as a parent-friendly copy.

Serious behaviour

When a teacher records level 5 behaviour, your safeguarding lead is told straight away, by email and in the app. They mark it as seen and note whether it was recorded on your school's own safeguarding system.

Behaviour Brain keeps that trail. Your safeguarding records stay where they are.

  • Level 5 behaviour flagged to the safeguarding lead
  • Marked as seen, with the time it was seen
  • Outcome noted: recorded on your system, or no further action
